Pico de Gallo is a simple salsa of fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers and cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 3 Large ripe tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup onion (white or red) (chopped)
  • 1-2 jalapenos (seeded and finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 lime (optional)

Directions

Combine tomatoes, onions, peppers and cilantro. If desired, add the juice of one lime. Let chill one hour for flavors to blend.
