Blue Cheese Dip with Vegetable Spears

Most platters with vegetable are served with a rather bland combination of sour cream and dill weed.  Here is something that will add some zip to your vegetables.
 
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
½ sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
    salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce to taste
Vegetables for dipping
  • celery sticks
  • carrot sticks
  • green, red and/or yellow bell peppers spears
  • button mushrooms
  • jicama strips
  • turnip strips
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • etc.

Mix blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and spices as desired together.  Chill in refrigerator for at least two hours and adjust seasonings to taste.  Serve with vegetables for dipping.


You can use this also for serving with "Buffalo Wings".
