Preheat oven to 350° Beat together butter or margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Sift dry ingredient together and combine with above mixture. Stir in the oats, chopped nuts and fruit cake mix. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack. Break the almond bark into chunks about 1 to ½ inches square. Stirring constantly, melt bark in the top of a double boiler.* Spread melted bark evenly over cookies and allow to set. * You can make a double boiler by placing a large or medium size sauce pan of water about 1/3 full. Bring the water to a boil and reduce heat to keep the water just below the boiling point. Gently place a smaller sauce pan containing the bark into the water. Take care that the hot water does not slosh or boil over the sides of the pan. Heat the bark until it is just melted.
