Oh my, these sound fabulous. Great job with the ingredients.
Audrey
Thanks, Wendy. I think I am trying your cookies soon. Especially if you can't taste the chickpeas. My guys wouldn't even touch these.
Krayvengirl
These sound and look delicious!
Audrey
Thanks, Trudy.

These sound tasty and I've had a similar problem. The bits crumbling instead of coming out of the pan when I've used beans in baking before. It's trial and error.
Audrey
I was trying to keep it gluten free so I resisted adding any flour, but next time I may use a little oat or brown rice flour.
Corinne
Oh my! I am drooling all over my keyboard. These look amazing! Thanks for the tip to use non-stick cooking spray since I'll definitely be making these!
Audrey
The first batch stuck and I had to toss them. 🙁
Crystal Green
These actually sound pretty good and they look good too. I would have never thought to combine them either. Thanks for all of these suggestions.

It was a challenging Challenge for me this month, but now I want to try the other recipes too.

If black beans can go in brownies then absolutely, why not chickpeas in blondies!? Why didn't I think of that? Great job.
Audrey
I love the black bean brownies, and that was the inspiration for these.

I am so excited about this recipe! I have celiac so have to be gluten free, and I'm always on the lookout for healthy treats. I'm crazy about chickpeas too, so I can't wait to try this. Pinned it so I can give it a go in my own kitchen. Thanks for posting this!
