Happiness is Homemade Meyer Lemon Shortbread Cookies

August 18, 2019 Filed Under: Desserts

We have now survived the first week of middle school. Our 6th grader was more than ready to start even if Mom and Dad weren’t. Now we can relax for a few minutes and start getting into our new fall routine.

If you have some fresh juicy ripe peaches this time of year, you need to make yourself some Ginger Peach Wine Slushies to enjoy with this easy Ricotta Herb Dip.

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade!

We have a new hostess joining the Happiness is Homemade crew starting this week.

Please welcome Viktoria from Awesome Alice! If you are looking to learn hand lettering or maybe try your hand at some DIY projects, head on over and check out her page.

Welcome to another week at Happiness Is Homemade. Wow, it is the middle of August. Kids are back to school, fall ideas are appearing and soon we will be sharing Halloween posts (I did see a couple already). I even saw some Christmas things at JoAnn fabrics the other day. Yikes, I am not ready for all of that. What about you?

Features for Happiness Is Homemade #284

I love anything with lemons and especially Meyer lemons. These shortbread cookies would be so tasty with a cup of tea. They are calling my name. Stop by The Curious Frugal for the recipe.

I love this vignette with sunflowers and lemons. So fresh and sunny.  You can find great tips on how to create An Uncontrived Vignette over at My Hubbard Home.

Do you wish you could take a bite out of these yummy caramel apples? Well, you just might be fooled since these are faux caramel apples. Only Lisa, @ Fresh Vintage by Lisa  could think of something so creative.

I am in love with these Chicken Wire Planters. How cute they look on her table! You can make your own, just head over to Farmhouse 40 for complete instructions.
