In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, contents of the tea bag and garlic.
Rub a tablespoon of the mix on all sides of the pork chop.
Grill over medium high heat or bake in the oven until internal temperature reaches 145°. Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of the pork chops and if they have a bone. A ½ inch think boneless pork chop only needs about 5 minutes a side while a 1½ inch thick bone in chop will need about 15 minutes per side.
