Sounds intense, spicy, and good! I usually buy pre-made versions of this so as to not inhale the chili, but this sounds relatively easy.

And your tip of wearing gloves - so true! Learned this the hard way while making homemade poppers last week! After de-seeding and removing the ribs out of 30 jalapeños last weekend, my fingers burned for quite awhile. I did find soaking them in vinegar and then washing a few times with soap and water helped a ton!
Goggles might be helpful too for when a jalapeño squirts at times 🙂 Learned that the hard way too!

I did this but I put the jalapeno's, onions and garlicon the smoker for anout 1 hourtourning often, then took off the skin off of them ran thru processor, have a great sauce, but want to can it, so it keeps longer, can I can this/
