To make your own bean flour, grind black or pinto beans in a food mill or coffee grinder to a fine powder (I used an espresso grind - twice!).
Combine all ingredients and pack into a ½ cup jelly jar.
Decorate jar and include instructions for making dip: In a small saucepan, add contents of container plus 1 ½ jars of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add ¼ - ½ cup grated cheese (optional) and stir until melted. Serve.
Notes
This recipe makes 1 small jelly jar (4 ounce size) of mix which makes 1 cup of dip. Can be doubled for 8 ounce jar.Printable instructions: include one set of instructions with each jar for gift giving.
