3tablespoonapple cider vinegar
2tablespoonreal maple syrup

½cupsour cream
2tablespoonfresh chives(finely chopped, divided)
Instructions
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and rosemary and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden-brown.

Add apple cider vinegar and gently scraping up any brown bits off the bottom of the skillet with a spatula. Add maple syrup and stir to combine. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoon real maple syrup
Transfer the onions to a mixing bowl and add the cream cheese, sour cream, and one tablespoon fresh chives. Stir to combine, taste and adjust seasoning.
4 ounces cream cheese, ½ cup sour cream, 2 tablespoon fresh chives
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining fresh chives. Serve immediately with an assortment of vegetables, crackers or thick chips.
