unsalted butter

dried culinary lavender flowers

egg
(slightly beaten)

honey
½
cup
buttermilk

teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400℉.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
2 cups all purpose flour,
½ cup rolled oats,
1 tablespoon baking powder,
½ teaspoon baking soda,
½ teaspoon sea salt
Cut in butter and add lavender.
¼ cup unsalted butter,
1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender flowers
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add the egg, honey, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir until just combined. DO NOT OVERMIX!
1 large egg,
⅓ cup honey,
½ cup buttermilk,
1 teaspoon vanilla
Turn dough out on a lightly floured board. Shape into a circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into 8 wedges.
Place wedges on baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 400℉ until lightly brown, about 12-15 minutes.
