Butterscotch Blondies are a rich and decadent bar loaded with butterscotch chips and pecans for a nutty sweet taste that screams Fall any time of year.
Ingredients
½cupbutter
2cupslight brown sugar
2largeeggs
1teaspoonvanilla
2cupsall purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
1cupbutterscotch chips
½cuppecanschopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla.
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture and beat to combine.
Pour batter into a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle nuts and butterscotch chips evenly over the top.
Bake 30-35 minutes until the center is set.
Remove from oven to a cooling rack. Let cool 10 minutes then cut into bars and allow to cool completely.
