1prepared 8" pie crust(graham cracker, cookie crumb, or traditional pie crust )
5ouncessemi sweet or dark chocolate baking bar
¼cupbutter
3tablespoonslight corn syrup
3eggs(beaten)
⅔cupbrown sugar
1teaspoonvanilla

Instructions
If using a traditional pie crust pre-bake for 10 minutes at 400℉ before filling.

Preheat, or lower oven to 350℉.
Separate chocolate bar into 2 ounces and 3 ounces. Set aside the 2 ounces. Chop the 3 ounces.
5 ounces semi sweet or dark chocolate baking bar
In a microwaveable bowl add 3 ounces of chocolate, butter and syrup. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir to melt the ingredients. If not completely melted microwave again at 10 second intervals until melted.
¼ cup butter, 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
In a medium bowl beat eggs, add sugar, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Pour into pie crust.
3 eggs, ⅔ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake at 350 ℉ for 30 -40 minutes until filling is set.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Top with whipped cream.

Use a vegetable peeler to shave the remaining chocolate on top of the pie.
