    Watermelon Mint Smoothie Ingredients and Nutrition

    Watermelon has a variety of nutrients including vitamin A and C, potassium and magnesium. Due to its high water content watermelon is also excellent for keeping hydrated in the heat.

    Mint, whether it is spearmint or peppermint, is good for digestion and contains vitamin A, iron, manganese, and folate.

    Yogurt adds protein, and if your yogurt has live cultures it helps with digestion.

    Ingredients
     

    • 2 cups seedless watermelon chunks
    • 1 tablespoons honey
    • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
    • 1 cup plain yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

    Instructions
     

    • Puree watermelon, honey and mint in a blender.
    • Add yogurt and pulse until smooth. Stir in chia seeds, if using.
    • Garnish with mint leaf.
