Are you looking for a delightful appetizer to tantalize your guests this summer? This savory Cherry Pecan Cream Cheese Spread is a real delight for your taste buds. And it is easy so easy to make. You can even make it ahead and reheat it just as your guests are arriving.
Get ready to impress your guests with this delectable spread that is perfect for any occasion.

This spread is a lovely combination of textures and tastes with the tangy cream cheese, crunchy pecans, sweet cherries and hints of cinnamon and fresh rosemary.
Serve it along with some crackers or mini toasts, or alongside a cheese tray, or with some bagels for a breakfast or brunch spread.
Should you use fresh, frozen or canned cherries?
During the summer, I always opt for fresh cherries. But, in those sad cold months when cherries are not in season, you can also make it with frozen cherries. You may want to start with less water, as the frozen cherries will release liquid faster than fresh.
If you use canned cherries in water (not cherry pie filling), omit the water entirely and use the liquid in the can.
