If you are like me there is always a need for a quick and easy homemade gift, especially around the holidays. Enter Chocolate Bark.
Melt chocolate, spread it on waxed paper, sprinkle on some "stuff", chill and break. Pack them in a fun container and you have a gift in less than 20 minutes. That's about how long it took me to make this batch last week, including time to find and clean the container.
I always try to keep some chocolate and vanilla melting wafers or chips on hand for just such an emergency. I used these Ghirardelli Dark and Ghirardelli White wafers (those are affiliate links, I may receive a commission for any purchases through these links at no cost to you) and sprinkled them with some Ghirardelli Peppermint Baking Chunks and some festive sprinkles and colored sugar.
In case you are wondering, Ghirardelli is not sponsoring this post, but I am a California girl and I love their products so I usually have them on hand year round. 🙂
