Make Your Own Apricot Liqueur for Special Occassions

July 19, 2018 Filed Under: Drinks

This lovely Apricot Liqueur makes a unique gift for family and friends. There is no need for them to know how little work is involved.

The three weeks steeping time is just a guide. If you let it sit with the apricots longer the flavors will be more intense. Even after removing the apricots this will continue to thicken and sweeten over time as the water slowly evaporates.

We often use this as the base for our Homemade Amaretto. If you want to give this as a gift, pour into an attractive bottle then print this Apricot Liqueur Cocktails recipe printable fold it into quarters and attach to the bottle with a pretty ribbon.

Don’t let the apricots go to waste! Try chopping them up and swapping them for the mangos in this banana bread recipe.
