    5 Favorite Fresh Cranberry Recipes

November 24, 2015 Filed Under: Appetizers, Condiments, Desserts

I am a day late in wishing you a Happy Eat a Cranberry Day. I know it is a Food Blogger's sworn duty to keep you informed of these inane "national days". Can you ever forgive me? What if I present you with five tantalizing cranberry recipes?

    Five Cranberry Recipes

I look forward to cranberry season all year, and I always throw a bag or two in the freezer sometime in December before fresh ones are gone for another year. Really, that's all you need to do to freeze them - just toss them in.

And then you can enjoy some of these goodies all year long:

    Brandied Cranberry Sauce

Brandied Whole Cranberry Sauce - cranberry sauce baked low and slow in brandy or rum. For a non-alcoholic version bake in cranberry, apple or orange juice.

    Cranberry Orange Relish

Cranberry Orange Relish - Raw cranberry sauce

    Cranberry Brie Bites

    Cranberry Brie Bites

    Cranberry Oat Bars

Cranberry Oat Cookie Bars - crispy oatmeal cookie with a tangy sweet layer of cranberry sauce.

    Sourdough Cranberry Cinnamon Rolls

Sourdough Cranberry Cinnamon Rolls - sourdough cinnamon rolls studded with fresh or frozen cranberries.
