Nothing screams summer quite like firing up the grill and enjoying a delicious hot dog. But for those tired of plain old ketchup or mustard on top, there's a new player in town: the Western Bacon Hot Dog.
This mouthwatering creation takes traditional hot dogs to the next level by adding a savory mix of salty bacon, sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, and crispy onion rings.
So heat up the grill and get ready to take your hot dog game to a whole new level.

My husband like his hot dogs plain. Our son drowns them in ketchup. I like to mix things up: ketchup, mustard, barbecue sauce, chopped onions, pickle relish, pickles, peppers, etc. Whatever I am in the mood for and have on hand at the time.
This recipe combines ingredients from one of my favorite cheeseburgers in hot dog form: cheese, onion rings, bacon and barbecue sauce.
You can prep the onion rings and bacon ahead of time, use precooked fried onions and bacon crumbles, or start the onion rings in the oven and bacon on the stove while you grill the hot dogs. No matter which way you chose, these will be ready in under 30 minutes.
