Are you ready for some Fall comfort like curling up in front of the fire with a rich decadent Autumn dessert?
I've assembled a little collection of comforting treats all made WITHOUT PUMPKIN.

I hit Pumpkin Spice overload years ago. It is everywhere starting September 1.
Some people love it and wait all year for it. If you are one of those people, enjoy. I am not knocking it. You can't walk through the grocery store in Fall without finding something.
But, for me there are just so many other incredible fall flavors like apple, cranberries, nuts and caramel that I enjoy indulging in.
Apple
Apples are the quintessential Fall fruit. Though you can get them year round, they just seem to taste better in the Autumn months.
Apple Cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese Icing
Caramel
Ooey gooey caramel is so warm and comforting making it perfect for Autumn.
Coffee Free Caramel Tiramisu (alcohol free)
Vanilla Caramel Ice Blended Coffee
Cranberries
Tart and tangy cranberries start to become available mid fall. Throw a bag or two in the freezer so you can enjoy these treats later in the year.
Sourdough Cranberry Cinnamon Rolls
Toasted Pecan Cranberry Muffins
Halloween
These treats are scary good for celebrating All Hallows' Eve. No tricks.
Nuts
I am partial to pecans and almonds, but you can use walnuts and hazelnuts instead.
Cream Cheese Pecan Coffee Cake
How about you? Are you a pumpkin fan, or do you look forward to one of the other flavors as the days shorten and the air cools?

I'm not really a fan of pumpkin so I love seeing non-pumpkin fall recipes! Thanks so much for sharing.
