I originally made this as a dip for strawberries for Easter dinner. Then I turned around and people were using it as a dressing for the Pineapple Melon Fruit Salad! I gave it a try and it was pretty darn delicious.
Besides serving it with fruit, you could also serve it with a dessert board with cookies, brownies, etc.
Ingredients for Creamy Fruit Dip
There are only 3 basic ingredients needed for this dip:
- cream cheese
- whipped topping (aka Cool Whip)
- powdered sugar (or sugar free sweetener)
Variations
- regular or low fat cream cheese
- regular, sugar free, fat free whipped topping
- add vanilla or almond extract
- mix in some warm spices such as: cinnamon, pumpkin spice, gingerbread spice, etc.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces whipped topping (Cool Whip)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- ¼ - ½ cup powdered sugar or sugar free substitute (more or less to taste based on the sweetness of the fruit)
- milk for thinning (optional)
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.8 ounces whipped topping, 8 ounces cream cheese, ¼ - ½ cup powdered sugar or sugar free substitute
- Store covered until ready to serve. Thin with milk if desired.milk for thinning
